The Head of State spoke with the Prime Minister of Finland Sanna Marin

The President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu had a phone call today with the Prime Minister of Finland Sanna Marin. They discussed the opinion of the European Commission on the opportunity to offer our country candidate status for accession to the European Union. In this context, the Head of State confirmed the Republic of Moldova's commitment to continue the reforms launched last year.

President Maia Sandu also thanked Helsinki authorities for the development assistance offered to our country and said that we count on Finland's support at the European Council on 23 and 24 June.
