The Head of State talked with the President of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen

The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, had a meeting with the Federal President of the Republic of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen, on Tuesday. The counterparts discussed the possibilities to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Austria, and the reform agenda set by our country.

The Head of State expressed her appreciation for the support offered by the Austrian side for obtaining the EU candidate status and for the assistance received over the years through the Austrian Development Agency.

At the end of the meeting, President Maia Sandu invited President Van der Bellen to visit the Republic of Moldova, after the October elections in Austria.
