The Head of State discussed with the German Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock

The President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu had a telephone conversation today with the Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany Annalena Baerbock. The officials discussed the security developments in the region, in the context of the war in Ukraine, and our country's European integration agenda.

Regarding the bilateral relations, President Maia Sandu thanked Germany for the solidarity it has shown over the years towards Moldova and for its support in managing the current crises we are facing. She also expressed her interest in boosting Moldovan-German cooperation.
