The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, had a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Moldova, residing in Bucharest, H.E. Roelof van Ees.
The Head of State welcomed the decision of the Netherlands to open an Embassy in Chisinau in May, noting that we want closer cooperation in key areas such as agriculture and the renewable energy sector, as well as continued support for the development of the rule of law and good governance in the Republic of Moldova. President Maia Sandu thanked the outgoing diplomat for his contribution to the development of good relations between our countries.
