Presidency of the Republic of Moldova
The President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu met today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, ES Gürol Sökmensüer, on the occasion of the end of his mandate. The discussion focused on the Moldovan – Turkish bilateral relations.
The Head of State thanked Ankara for its support during the pandemic and the help Turkey provided for the refugees in Moldova, as well as for its support for the Republic of Moldova territorial integrity and sovereignty. President Maia Sandu expressed her hope to deepen the economic, as well as security and energy cooperation between the two countries.
