The head of state congratulated those over 1,000 graduates of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. The President mentioned that exactly 30 years ago, she was a graduate at the beginning of her journey, after a beautiful student life, and that the Republic of Moldova, which had recently gained its independence, was also at the start of its path. “Many years of wandering followed, without a concrete national project to offer us the prospect of prosperity in a well-governed state, with a fair justice sector and a strong economy,” remarked President Maia Sandu.
The head of state further specified that today, the Republic of Moldova is at the beginning of another path - “we know what we want and where we are heading - we want to build a European Moldova. And we need the enthusiasm, creativity, and innovative spirit of young people with solid training in the economic field,” emphasized President Maia Sandu.
The President urged the young people to view their efforts in the coming years as a chance to make history, while advancing their own careers and paths. “And when we look back, let us all know that we were part of something bigger than ourselves - the success story that will be called European Moldova,” added President Maia Sandu.
