Moldovan President Maia Sandu discussed today in Chisinau with European Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders the progress of justice reform in Moldova. The head of state also spoke about the resistance to change shown by some people in the system and reconfirmed our determination to make the law equal for all.
"The European Union will continue to support us in our efforts to clean up the justice system and strengthen institutions to fight corruption. Those who do not appreciate these efforts are the compromised people in the judiciary. But we will continue to change things in this system and we will work with those who are ready for change and want the Moldovan justice system to regain the trust of its citizens and put the law at the head of the table," stressed the head of state.
